Alerts for the parks you're heading to
Save the parks on your list and see each park service's current alerts for them in one place: closures, fire bans, track and road notices. We read the official alert lists for Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia once a day. Free, and nothing to sign up for to use it.
We don't confirm whether any park is open. Each alert below is the park service's own notice as at our last automated check, with a link to the official page. We list notices that name a saved park, so regional, road and differently named notices can be missed, and anything changed since the check time won't show. Check the park service's current alerts before you travel, and again on the day.

Find a park
Parks in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia that a park service has named in an alert — not every park. The Northern Territory and Western Australia aren't covered.
Not every park is here: the list is the parks each service has named in an alert since early October, and it grows as they name more. The Northern Territory and Western Australia aren't covered yet. Each service's own alert page:
- Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (Queensland)
- Parks Victoria (Victoria)
- National Parks and Wildlife Service SA (South Australia)
- NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (New South Wales) — we summarise these alerts in our own words, facts only; read the official alert for its wording
- Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service (Tasmania) — we summarise these alerts in our own words, facts only; read the official alert for its wording
Get your saved parks' alerts by email
After each daily check, we'll email you the changes it finds to alerts naming your saved parks and, if you give a trip date, a summary the evening before you leave. Emails can be late or miss a change, so don't wait for one before checking the official advice. Every email links to the official notice. It's separate from our monthly email. Unless you tick the box below, nothing else comes of it.
Thanks, you're nearly in. Check your inbox for a confirmation email from Audacia and click the link to finish signing up.
Been there recently?
Tell other walkers what you found: three quick taps on the road in, water and creek crossings. Report a park.
Alert titles from Queensland, Victoria and South Australia are quoted from the park services under their licences (shown with each alert). New South Wales and Tasmanian alerts are our facts-only summaries with a link to the official alert. Audacia is a privately run travel-guide site, not a park service.
Parks don't pay us to include their alerts, and nobody pays to be placed higher. Accommodation and tour links elsewhere on Audacia can earn us a commission, at no extra cost to you. How we're paid →
