What cookies we use

• Analytics — Google Analytics, to understand which pages are useful and how visitors find the site. This only loads after you accept cookies below; if you reject or don't answer, it never loads.
• Booking widgets — our Book Now page embeds live widgets from Stay22 (accommodation) and Viator (activities), which may set their own cookies to show pricing and availability and to attribute bookings correctly.
• Affiliate tracking — set by partner platforms (Stay22, Viator, Booking.com) when you click through to them, so a referral and any resulting commission can be attributed correctly.
• Preference — a small local flag recording whether you've accepted or rejected cookies, so we don't ask again on every visit.

We don't currently run advertising cookies or third-party tracking beyond the above. We use cookie and analytics data only to understand and improve our site — we don't sell or trade it, and we don't share it for advertising purposes beyond what's needed to run the analytics and booking-widget services described above.

Data sent overseas

Google Analytics and our booking-widget partners are based overseas and may process cookie data outside Australia. See the "Data sent overseas" section of our Privacy Policy for details.

Your choices

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. Rejecting stops Google Analytics from loading; the Stay22 and Viator booking widgets still load when you visit the Book Now page, since they're the core function of that page rather than a tracking add-on. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies directly in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or the law. The current version will always be posted here.
